I have recently uploaded the Kunena forum 1.6.3 onto my Joomla site 1.6 and everything is working perfectly with exception to the avatars. I wondered if anyone could give me some guidance?
When I try and upload an image as my avatar, it says the upload is complete, but nothing appears. I have given it some time to see if the avatar eventually appears, but nothing has come up after a few days of trying, even the gallery pics have same issue. I am uploading a .jpg files. I am using firefox and IE and have tried using other browsers all to the same result, so I'm pretty stuck now. Please help me.
Hi, have you set the setting to kunena on avatar Integration. And also can you check if the avatar is uploaded to the dir: media\kunena\avatars\users , and also check the permissions on the dir.
yes we have done that. now next question is checking what permissions on the directory. if needed i can give you all my backend login information. we are trying to launch our site tonight and the avatars is one of the last things holding us. Ty greatly appreciated.
