Why am I always getting this error? was created by btbdance
I get this at the top of my Kunena board: vti_encoding:SR|utf8-nl vti_timelastmodified:TR|14 Oct 2010 16:23:57 -0000 vti_extenderversion:SR|5.0.2.4803 vti_cacheddtm:TX|14 Oct 2010 16:23:57 -0000 vti_filesize:IR|1667 vti_backlinkinfo:VX| - from here I must delete kunena, and then load it as a new installation, if i reinstall over the previous copy, i get an xml 2 error or so.
It seems to happen when I install and try-out certain modules for my site - I do not know which modules I can install because none of them state, "this mod is not very good with kunena". This error has happened so many times, I cannot even start to remember which modules may have caused the problems.
Please help!

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hello,
You can try to disable each module one by one and test each time if kunena works better.
Do you have a link to your site ?

Nope, I tried this before... I actually tried un-installing all my modules except for Kunena and this did not work.
In each case, when this happened, I have had to uninstall kunena, complete an automatic repair on my database and then reinstall kunena! it is a lengthy process. From there, I have to re-set all my menu items, because menu items no longer match with forum ids.

Hi, Did you find a solution to this - I have just transfered a site from development to another server and have the same error.
Cheers,
Dave

I am trying to understand how this error situation occurs. It might help if we could see the K 1.6 configuration reports in these two cases to see if there's a common link between them.

Issue was fixed by hosting support dept. Must have been a server-side setting.
