I have created an announcement very similar to the one you all have in Kunena. I noticed that the "there are no categories in the section" was remove. How can i remove that line "There are no categories in the section!" just for one section?

Also, I just remember this, how can i add more topic icons? I see smile faces, heart, and etc...

To remove the message "There are no categories in the section" you either need to unpublish the section or you need to create a category in that section. See Sections, Categories, sub-categories (part 1) . Just remember that, if you don't have any categories in a section, you can't post anything in that section ... because there are no categories. If you see the message "There are no categories in the section" it's Kunena's way of saying that you've done something wrong.

How to add more topic icons is a different question. We've answered it before - see How to add new topics icons .

boejean,

You can also go to the language for front end not Admin directory:

language/en-GB/en-GB.com_kunena.ini and comment out the text on line 1126

Replace this:

COM_KUNENA_GEN_NOFORUMS="There are no categories in the section!"

With this:

COM_KUNENA_GEN_NOFORUMS=""

That will work for you my friend.

I think I've misunderstood your question.

Could you show us, please, what you are talking about? Where is this announcement on www.kunena.org and where is this message "There are no categories in the section"?
