I am presently using Joomla 1.5 and the latest version of Kunena and the latest version of Jomsocial, when needed how do you suspend a member for a x period of time and the same question applies to banning them all together, though banning should be an easy answer, by deleting them for the program, suspending them for a period of time seems to be a grater question, but open to better suggestions for banning additionally.

Moderate message that user posted and in there moderate user -> you get into Kunena user profile for that user.

In last tab you can add ban -- Just be careful not to use time limit on Joomla bans, because of our plugin is stillmissing a check when user tries to log in..

I was pretty certain of banning a user, however, my question was more geared to suspending a individual for an x amount of time. In other words they did not do something to be banned, but perhaps suspension is in order...

So how would we, moderate a suspension, allowing for only a suspension for a period of time, then automatically lifting the suspension at the end of this period..

Or are you saying you can not provide a suspension with a time limit.

Answer is yes and no, depending what you want. If you only want user not to be able to post anything into forum (but can normally log in and send PM and read topics), then you can do it right now. Just set a date when you ban user and he will be silent for x days.

But the feature doesn't work if you prevent user from logging in.

I do not find that tab. Where is it?
In Administration panel I can only ban the user in setting users. I select the user and check in ban user option.
But i can“t find the time limit or the sanction reason ( I select in setting > users > "show the sanction reason")
