Kunena 6.4.13 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.13 [6.4.13] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.0
Hint: This version is primarily intended to facilitate an upgrade if Joomla was first updated to version 6.1 before Kunena was up to dated.

Question Kunena developers push edit button inside h2 tag

Problem is that when you use Rockettheme, only the edit button is slightly missplaced. This because Kunena uses edit button inside a h2 tag, which is uncommon. This problem cannot be resolved with disabling "Title Spans" from Rocketthme advanced tap.

So i read the entire wiki entry and i learned that i should either pay someone who is doing CSS for a living or that i should switch the template. Further the is a link to the FAQ which has a small part about template issues and howto resolve them. However none of the information provided is helpful to solve the problem with the "edit" button and the odd usage of the h2 tag.

I think the point about your story (and this is what is addressed in the article that I've asked you to read) is that you chose a particular template, you bought it, and you're asking us to fix someone else's problem. The key factor in addressing these problems is that they're all easy to fix if you have the know-how, the patience and the fortitude. If you don't have the know-how, the patience or the fortitude then it comes down to whether or not you have the budget.

You should be able to solve your problem yourself within a couple of minutes. It will take me an hour or two.

Show us the exact problem you're having - your description of a "slightly misplaced" edit button is a bit vague - if we need to login to your site to see the issue at first hand, please provide us with a test account, give me a little while, and I'll fix Rockettheme's problem for you.

Sozzled, the point here is that it is not a 3rd party issue, it is a Kunena issue. Why? Because the button is put between 2 h2 tags. And this is clearly needs to be fixed as it is the only button affected.

I understand the point that you're trying to make, but if this was the case then there would be a problem here (at www.kunena.org ) and on countless other websites around the world that use fairly "simple" Joomla templates. The issues are made more difficult because of the extra features added by other Joomla template designers and that's the problem that faces any component developer: how do you make a component work with virtually every Joomla template that exists. It's just not possible to meet all those demands.

We have taken your comments on board and they will be considered in the future development of Kunena to minimise the potential impact that other Joomla templates have on Kunena. But, from what I can tell (looking at your site), you're not using the Blue Eagle template that was designed and developed by the Kunena project. This makes it a more difficult to understand the specific problem that you seem to be having and maybe you need to take up your concerns with the author of the template that you're using. It would help if you provided us with your configuration report and I may be able to point you in the right direction.
