Show some images for guests? was created by altious
I don't want guests to see images therefore I set Show images for guests to NO
However when I put images in my 'Category Header' images there doesn't show for guests ALSO
is it possible to show images in category header and still maintain the 'Show images for guests to NO'

Hello,
I think that this setting is applied only for message content and not for category header

It's a BBcode thing: If you use the [img] tag, and you don't allow guests to see images, then anywhere this tag is used, the image won't be displayed. This is the only way you can insert images into the category header. Therefore, if you can't use the tag in one place, you can't use the tag anywhere. That's just my educated guess on the matter.
The trouble is, of course, that if you disallow the tag for messages but allow it for category descriptions then we'll get complaints from people saying that they don't want any guests to see any images anywhere as far as guests are concerned.. So, you really can't solve this without adding another forum configuration setting to the 180 settings (I just counted them) that already exist.

Your question to me: I have no idea. Maybe another member of the community has an idea of what to change. Sorry.
