Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi folks, if you check here , when I change from the dropdown list the time period to show the recent topics, I'm getting a "Not Found" page.

Does anybody knows, why I'm getting a wrong URL with kunena_v1.6.0_b3613.

Any idea where to set it or fix it?

That was an old problem that was fixed in the public release. Please upgrade and the problem will go away.

Hi Sozzled, I did the update to 6320 and the issue remains. Please, check this link and select a different option in the dropdown on the left (month, year, hours) to see what I'm talking about.

Besides that I don't know why we have the "GO" button, if when selecting an item in the dropdown it goes automatically without pressing the "GO" button.

There's something not happening right with the URL. Can you provide your K 1.6 configuration report, please?

Have you modified any Kunena source code? I see that you're using a customised menu (that's OK) and a customised template. I'm wondering if you made those customisations to your template while K 1.6 was in an early stage of development. Could you please try to reproduce the problems with the Blue Eagle (default) template. If you don't have a problem with the default template then the problems you're having now look as if they are caused by the template you have designed. That's where you'll have to look for a problem.

Thanks for the info. I've tried the blue template and it is working ok. Now I wonder where is the code from this dropdown list, so I can check what I have changed, but it is pretty weird because I just use to change css, such colors, font and stuffs like that and don't use to hack the structure itself.

Any Idea where should I check? Do you still need the configuration report?

I don't need to see the configuration report. The Kunena forum configuration is independent of the template, anyway.

In your case you were using a template that was crafted during some of the changes that occurred during the early days of K 1.6 development. Some people took the earlier beta versions of Kunena and used it to design and develop their own templates. Unfortunately, some subsequent changes conflicted with those templates.

For others in your situation, people need to revisit any templates constructed during K 1.6 beta and apply any CSS adjustments accordingly. The Wiki should give you a few clues about how to develop your own Kunena template. See How to create a template for Kunena .

Even though your problem (as far as the dropdown is concerned) is fixed (by using the standard Blue Eagle template) it's up to you to either contact the person who made the template for you or fix it yourself.
