Question Remove main tab entry

Hi, I was able to remove the "my profile" option next to "advanced search" by reading through the forum. However, I still have several questions that I need help with:

1/ Please let me know how to remove the main "my profile tab" at the top as circled in the image below:


2/ If I want to add another tab (New Tab), where and how can I define a link associated with that tab?

3/ I am also running Kunena with Jomsocial. Does it matter whether the user updates his/her avatar under Kunena or Jomsocial or another application that uses Jomsocial?

Questions (1) and (2) are almost identical to what was asked in Tab Menu Edit a couple of days ago.

(3) I don't know too much about JomSocial but, I would guess, if you have specified that you want your forum to use JomSocial avatars then you should use JomSocial to update them.

Hi, Yes, I saw those posts but they refer to getGameForumlink and none looked like they were talking about renaming or removing a tab. I was hoping for something more straight forward like retyping a tab label or removing a line of code. That's why I thought the response was not for my situation. I guess I will have to look closer.

sozzled, question 1 in this original post is for removing a tab. All the links you posted in response are for adding not removing. Are we to assume the instructions on removing from what you have directed us to? That seems a bit scary to me. There are no clear answers to "How to remove a tab" in any of the links you have posted or anywhere on this forum for that matter (unless I just cant find it which is possible - and thats not for lack of trying). I even googled it and still ended up empty handed

Do you have a FAQ anywhere on how to remove a tab? I have searched and have not found. I just keep ending up down the rabbit hole with no help.
