The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Important [FIXED] Superadministrator doesn't have to read forum
I've a problem with Kunena 1.5.9.
When I created the forum I decided that Superadministrator doesn't have to read the forum. In fact the forum is not mine, I created for an association, and for an honesty question I decided in this way.
I set these permissions: Public Frontend = "Registered" (the forum is Registered Users Only), Public Backend = "Administrator". Childgroups are "No".
Initially all was ok. Then I had to upgrade Kunena at the version 1.5.9..
Yesterday I found the problem: I, a superadministrator, can read the forum (even if I haven't permissions).
I read the scheme in Kunena Docs, all seems to be ok.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance!

Do you tried with kunena 1.5.11 maybe there are improvements on this point?
What kunena template do you using ?

Thanks for your answer!
I didn't try kunena 1.5.11... than I try to upgrade.
I use "default_ex" template.
EDIT: I've a bit of fear to upgrade... (I'm going to finish my work...). Do you think an upgrade can fix this situation?

No problem during this, but the previuos problem remains.
How can I do?
Yesterday I've installed NoixACL (I needed it for a group question) but the problem was born not yesterday, but some weeks ago.

Childgroups are "No". For Public Frontend or Public Backend?? For Public Frontend should be Childgroups = "No".

So, that's the exact situation: with NoixACL I created a group ("Consiglio Direttivo"), because I needed a special area for the main members of the association. It works.
This new group depends from "Registered".
I set these permissions:
Public Frontend = "Registered" (the forum is Registered Users Only);
Childgroup are = YES (because the members of "Consiglio Direttivo" have to watch other forums)
Public Backend = "Administrator".
Childgroups are "No".
This it the actual situation, but the problem exists before the installation of NoixACL.
Initially the permissions worked and the superadministrator didn't watch the forums where I set up the restrictions.
Sorry for my english!
