G'day, jugg3r, and welcome to the forum. I realise that you are new to the community and so I will try to make this simple for you to understand.

You asked a question in the support category. Please understand this:
    The
Support category, where you posted your question, is intended to be used to address problems or to report defects that you are encountering with the unmodified core Kunena software. You should also know that, when dealing with support questions, there is only one endorsed and supported Kunena template ... default_ex . We give these support topics higher priority than other topics, particularly around the time when there is a new release of Kunena (as there was only a couple of days ago), in order to ensure that defects are not passed on to other users. Now that we've got the preliminaries out of the way, could you please tell us what version of Kunena you are using and do the symptoms occur when you use the default_ex template?

I do apologize for posting in an inappropriate forum for my needs. I am totally new to the Kunena Forum application and these forums and I appreciate your patience and assistance.

Kunena 1.5.10 is the version that is installed.

Yes, it happens even when I have the default template installed.

It just started today.

When I look at the code, here is what I am seeing:

<a href="MySiteURL" target="_blank"><img src="MyTemplates" border="0" alt="ClanDnC" title="ClanDnC" /></a> <img src="IMGSource" border="0" alt="UserEmail" title="MSN:
<a href="mailto:UserEmail">UserEmail"

By my counts, that is an extra " at the end of that </a> on the last line.

I see that my version has been withdrawn. Should I revert back to Kunena 1.5.9 and see if that takes care of the problem? I am just confused because it was working fine since I installed it and now it just stopped.

Could another component or module be conflicting with it. I installed JCE today. I have tried disabling all additional installations of other components and modules today and that didn't fix it either.

I reverted it back to Kunena 1.5.9 and that still has not fixed the issue. I am at a loss completely.

I am not sure if your question was posted into an inappropriate category; I merely want to warn you that we cannot support what is not unmodified core Kunena software.

I would not advise reverting to K 1.5.9 just yet. Currently we are tracking defects that may have crept into K 1.5.10 prior to the release of a new K 1.5.11 version. It is possible that K 1.5.9 may fix your problem but the problem may resurface with a later release. We're currently testing those things now.

I don't know anything about JCE. Have you tried disabling this plugin to see if it corrects the apparent defect?

Yes. I uninstalled it as well and the issue still persists. I really think that it is something that I installed that is conflicting and not an issue with Kunena software at all. I will have to do some additional investigating. Thank you for assisting me.

I completely reverted my site back to core setting and performed a fresh install of Kunena. It is still happening.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the file that is creating the tags for these elements?
