Question [Topic closed by moderator - outdated version] Duplicate message after modify.

There is a bug in the recent version of Kunena. also in kunena.com forum!
Sometimes when users modify a message the message where duplicated.
So this need a fix :dry:

Do you have evidence of this somewhere? As you know, I often edit my messages after I post them here at www.kunena.com ; this action does not result in duplicate messages. I don't think I've encountered this behaviour. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, it's just that I don't know under what conditions, or circumstances, that the situation can happen. :unsure:

The message 42516.. when i modified it its where duplictated on the msg 42524
It is happened also on my site. im sure.

Thank you. I see the evidence but I don't know how to reproduce the circumstances. Perhaps it was "finger trouble"? Perhaps, instead of editing the message (note, #42516 shows no indication that you, or anyone else, modified the message) you pressed reply instead and then pasted the contents of the earlier message that appeared in #42524? I don't know. :S It's remains an unsolved mystery.

I would like to know if this happens randomly or is it somehow deterministic. Please give more information every time you find this happening again (just "It happened again in here:" is sufficient if you have nothing else to tell).

I hope it won't remain unsolved. It happened to me too but I got no idea what needs to be done to reproduce it.
