Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

SOLVED: JomSocial Integration - My Discussions, My Profile was created by Miked
I'm a huge fan of Kunena. Its a fantastic product despite everybody's time constraints.

What I can't understand is the difficulty in getting solutions to what seems to be very common problems when there is obviously solutions right here on the Kunena site.

More precisely, I am running JomSocial (248) and the Kunena 1.5.6 and cannot get the My Discussions and My Profile tabs to work.

I get the common cited errors (e.g. Fatal Error kunena.debug.php on line 58 on My Discussions).

There are no posted solutions that seem to work.

However, it obviously works because the Kunena site is integrated with JomSocial.

So, please, what are the hacks to get My Discussions and My Profile tabs to work?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

Sorry for your problems!

This does not seem to be a JomSocial integration issue. This error get thrown by php if a sql function call fails hard. IN most cases this is due to a problem with the MySQL or PHP version.

Do you have a link to the problem and what version are you running?

We are runnin php 5 and MySQL 5.0.77.

The site is www.schoolnation.ca .

The error with My Profile is:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getDisplayName() on a non-object in .... schoolnation.ca/plugins/community/myblog.php on line 83

I am attaching a screenshot of the error when I click My Discussions.

This is fixed in Kunena 1.5.7RC3.

Thanks so much. Gave it a shot, but unfortunately did not work for me.

Any other ideas? I'm leary of the RC as we are a live site.
