Question Is this the right way solving my problem ?

Hey guys... I am new here an hopefully this can bring me a solution.

Please have a look at my Forum :

You see this kategorie GERMAN FORUM and ENGLISH FORUM .... I just created a parent category which I named ENGLISH and GERMAN Forum, because I like to have these 2 sections as HEADLINES here .

If I would sete.g. "ENGLISH FORUM" as the parent than put "GENERAL TOPIS" & "JOLICLOUD" as childs under that and than the categories like NEWS, OFF TOPICS, INSTALLATION etc. under this again I don't like the optical way how it looks cause than the sub-Topics like NEWS, OFF TOPICS, INSTALLATION etc.are just mentioned very small . Is that the way I can handle this idea ?
Nice would be to have the HEADLINE GERMAN FOURM and ENGLISH forum just above without the possibilities to place also topics in this category .

if you set "ENGLISH forum" as parent for NEWS, OFF TOPICS, INSTALLATION etc

how it looks?

Oh .. ok .. you mean that I don't use the sections GENERAL TOPICS and JOLICLOUD (EN) .. that is not a bad idea .. if there is no other chance this would be an idea

Yes, looks good to me, if you dont want to show subcategories.

If you still want to have GENERAL TOPICS and JOLICLOUD you can do in this way

ENGLISH - GENERAL TOPICS
--NEWS
--OFF topics
--MISSING
--Hoe To...?
ENGLISH - JOLICLOUD
--Installation
--Technic
--APPs

for German I'd just change ENGLISH with GERMAN

BTW: Is there some reason why you use Kunena 1.5 and not Kunena 1.6?
