Question How do I change the background colours of my tabs?

I need to change the following images:
cat_title_bg.gif
cat_title_head_bg.gif
tabmenuright.gif
tabmenuleft.gif

I have a pink-ish template and these are all blue and clash with my template, where do I find other images? I see many templates around but can't seem to see the images anywhere, can you point to where I can find them? Thanks

components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images/

Thats where they are stored according to the css.

I posted the question wrongly. I did find where those 4 images are, but I need to find other images with different colours. I tried modifying them myself with Adobe Photoshop but they just won't change colours and can't understand why. Any clue?

There's a trick to how you change the image colours. The best way to change them is to split the image in half, take the blue-coloured part out, edit it separately, "colourise" it (i.e. apply a hue variation to it) and then reassemble the image. I've developed a red-themed template that might help you: see bubbleRed template for K 1.5.9 . It's not perfect, it does a few other thing you may not be interested in (the "speech-bubble" effect is one of them) but, otherwise, it's just the default_ex template with a few things to make them appear red. Any template with a tabmenuleft file image, cat_title_bg and cat_title_head_bg? I know it's silly but I just can't work out how to change its colours!
