Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Question Migration from FB1.0.4 to Kuena 1.5.8

Hello,

I have a site on joomla 1.0 and Firebird 1.0.4, and the new serveur (different host) on Joomla 1.5 and Kuena 1.5.8.

How I can migrate all messages ?

I have take a look on the DB, and have see that nothing is changed. It's possible to only copy the tables?

Ok, I can make this on the old forum:

1. backup your site
2. unistall FBoard
3. Install Kunena

and after copy the tables only on the new server ?

yes, you can do that but don't forget after to have uninstalled fireboard to use the com_converter to migrate form fireboard 1.0.4 to fireboard 1.0.5

Ok, summary:

1. backup your site
2. unistall FBoard
3. com_converter to migrate form fireboard 1.0.4 to fireboard 1.0.5 (why???)
4. Install Kunena on new server
5. copy the mysql tables

right?

Yes, it's correct

You need com_converter because in FB 1.0.5 the configution are saved in the database and not in a file
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
