Question keep getting logged out

I don't know whether my problem is connected with my recent upgrade to 1.5.7 but every time I and all my members return back to the website, they have to log in again, even though they have checked the remember me box. I'm finding that if I log in on the home page I type my username in and my password is automatically remembered, but I'm not automatically logged in when I opened the site initially like I used to be. I would like to get this very annoying problem sorted out because people who subscribe to threads have got to keep looking back in again every time they receive an e-mail.

It seems the same thing is happening on the Kunena forum, I have to log in each time I return.

maybe it's a browser problem, on what browser this problem happens ?

I have just signed into the website on a different computer using both Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer and I was automatically logged into my website when I opened it, no having to manually put in my username. So it does rather suggest that the other computer is the source of the problem. Obviously I've had to tell people that are having the same problem may be clear their cash/browsing history and see what happens

It sounds like FireFox bug: if you click on link on another application, FF does not send cookies. It happens also if you click on bookmark. Reload page -- and you are logged in.

I actually don't think it's got anything to do with a Firefox bug, my problem anyway. I have three computers that I use. Two of the computers don't give me any problems, I can sign in and out all of my websites using Firefox 3.5 / minefield and Internet Explorer and I don't have to manually sign in again when returning . However, on my main computer using Internet Explorer and Firefox Minefield if I leave my website and return I have got to manually enter my username because I am not automatically logged in. However, it is remembering my password, there is no need to enter this manually. One strange thing, if I use Safari then I didn't have any problems whatsoever, also the same with Google chrome, it is just Internet Explorer and Firefox on one computer that is giving me this annoying problem. It is also happening to a few other people as well, but not everybody.
