I know this is a stupid question, but how, after installing and configuring kunena do you link it into joomla. I can see it in the joomla control panal and get to the back end ok but I don't know how to find the front end (user side) and/or link it to my menu so members can find it.

Hi. This isn't the answer the OP seeks, I'm having the same problem. :)
I know I need to make a link on the joomla page, the question is "where did the forum go? what's the url to get me to the frontend of the forum?"

And yes, it must be a silly question but I've been at it for 2 hours and can't find the frontend either.

thanks!

Hello,

I don't understand your issue, when you create a new link item with joomla! menu manager, the link to kunena is generated automatically.

Maybe with a little video, is better to understand : www.joomlatutorials.com/joomla-15x/jooml...u-item-internal.html

just choose kunena and not articles like the video show.

I'll try to explain my problem. Imagine a phpbb forum gets set it up and you'd goto www.myurl.com/forums/index.htm to get to the front end of the forum.

I've loaded the Kunena forum and set it up and now I need to goto www.myurl.com/joomla/ *i don't know where to go from here*

Does that make sense? I know it sounds really simple and I apologize for a simple question. thanks!

You need to know the joomla! basis working.

Do you have created a link in menu manager by following my explanations ?
