It is possible for your registered users to receive e-mail notification about new messages posted in discussion topics that they are interested in. This is done by clicking the button. They can likewise opt-out of that process by un-favoriting such topics.
Visitors/guests can also use your site's RSS feed to see the latest messages posted.
I don't think you need to change anything.

Thanks for reply.
I really appreciate quick replies on this site…you guys are really dedicated
Well...
On my site, i want people to put their questions and get answers easily without subscribing or registering themselves
Hence asked the "Guest email notification"
Yes, I agree with Matias...and I hope this facility gets available soon
But now since the guest notification is not possible I needed a workaround
As you suggested
1. Tell ‘registered’ user(s) to click on Favourite button
-> is there any way we can simply sent email to user whoever posed the query when we reply to post? (instead of telling them to click on fav. Button!!)
2. RSS Feed of the site
-> This sounds good idea, but again one uncertainty….What if user ignore the RSS subscription?
S/he won’t get the email when we reply to post

Sorry, that's not possible ... well not possible in an automated sense. The implication is that you would be denying people the choice to opt-in or opt-out of that "service"; in effect, your solution imposes a solution that may not suit their needs. On my site, i want people to put their questions and get answers easily without subscribing or registering themselves, hence [the need for] the "Guest email notification".
Let me give you a counter-example. Here, at www.kunena.com , for good or for bad, people can only post questions as registered users. However if every passing visitor could post a message (and expect an answer) the site would be overrun with everything from how does Kunena work to how to change the tyres on their car. Add to that the "need" to email updated information to visitors every time someone posted a reply about tyre-changing procedures, and the whole system would collapse. If people are interested in your service then invite them to register as users to participate in the benefits. From a Kunena perspective, the current approach (the use of "favorites") allows people to opt-in or out as they choose. Most of the time, though, people choose to visit the website to get the information they need.
But you can't have a user opt-in/out service if the person isn't a user - I mean, if the person isn't registered as a user. Do you understand the distinction?

You can achieve something very close to this: Use Kunena Configuration » Frontend » User Related » Post-subscription checked by default? = Yes. This is the default value. People can choose to opt-out, if they want.Tell ‘registered’ user(s) to click on Favourite button. Is there any way we can simply sent email to user whoever posed the query when we reply to post? Your last point "what if users ignore the RSS subscription" is a "so what?" in my opinion. That's their choice.
I would not, if I were you, spend too much time stressing, bending over backwards to please your users or make life so simple that they can sit back and reap the rewards of your blood, sweat and tears.
Bottom line: you can't please everyone; you also can't solve every site management issue with technology, either.

Why do you want visitors to be able to get emails? This is currently not possible because of security conserns: there is no easy and unobstructive way to check if email address from a visitor is actually his own address. So honestly I do not find any good reason why this feature should be implemented -- the risk of getting feature hacked/abused is too high, or if it was made safe -- the cost and annoyance to the user would be higher than registering into the site in the first place.
Or would you rather register once or every time you want to subscribe?
