Having problems was created by Petchums
Hi there,

Having a little panic attack!

1. I deleted a tread by accident, is there anyway of retrieving it?

2. All the topic, replies and last posts stats have are showing zero on the front end?

Don't know what I've done but if anyone can advise that would be great. Really appreciate.

Hello,

1°) When you delete something, it's deleted permanently there are no way to come back. The only way it's if you have a backup of your database.
2°)Try to do a recount category stats in backend.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

OK, let's go calmly into "damage control". Is this affecting a forum that has a lot of messages and, if you were to start again, would the result be very serious?

Have you made a recent backup of your site ("Backup?" she may be thinking) like with Joomapack? Joomlapack will lessen the chances of you having panic attacks in future.

I will look at your link - no problem when you're posting it to get help - there may be more I can write afterwards.

xillibit is correct. Please follow his advice. Your forum looks OK to me except the message counts on the categories page - these should adjust when you do the "Recount stats". B)

Thanks for getting back to me, the guys who build the site should have it backed up but won't be able to make contact until monday. Luckily the thread had only 5/6 posts but just want to make sure I don't repeat this same mistake!

I tried recounting stats but nothings happened. Forum looks empty but all the informations there, phew. Slowly learning  Thanks again.
