Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Something strange has started happening just recently. If you look at the posts in recent discussions, you may have two different avatars showing for the same person, one that is current, one that is an old one, any ideas what is causing this? I thought it might have been the plug-in that allows you to make forum changes such as the signature, I disable this but the problem did not rectify

Do you use login name or real name? If real name, there can be many users using the same name.

These are the same people, anyway, they recognise their old avatars, and if they click on a post with the old avatar, it is their own post, not somebody else's. It's even doing it with me. A few months ago I uploaded a guess just to test something, removed and replaced it with my regular avatar, and that is showing at in recent discussions as well

We use JomSocial API to fetch avatars. Do you have unstable version installed?
