Yes, I'm a newbie, sorry. Have just installed Kunena. Categories are showing up, but even for Registered Users there is no visible way to Post a Topic.

That's a very good question. Thank you for asking it. I replied to a similar question a while ago but I think the information is still useful. See How to post to forum . Does this information help you?

OK, I see now that the problem is the Post Topic, Reply, etc. capability revolves around being able to see and click on graphic images (no text links!) that do not show on our just installed Kunena site -- we're not even getting "missing graphic" ?'s where the graphics should be, we're just getting nothing.

Perhaps these graphics are embedded in CSS, but if that is so why aren't we getting them automatically? It seems as though we would have had to delete them in order for them to just not show??

Mark all Forums Read is the only clickable rectangle that shows on our Kunena site.

ADDENDUM:
These are the graphics, essential to posting, which do not appear on our Kunena install.

Hi, we are using English, but you might be onto something. What should our image location be if using English?

components / com_kunena / template / {name of your template} / images /

inside you must have folder "english" with subfolder "emoticons", "graph", "icons"and "ranks".
