Introduction:
The Kunena team is thrilled to announce the stable of Kunena 6.0, a native Joomla extension for Joomla 4.x. This stable version see the day almost an year after the release of BETA1 which was back in june 2021.
The discuss plugin for K6.0 is available in BETA1 and the module latest for K6.0 is available in BETA2. Kunena 6.0 has been designed to work on Joomla! 4.1 and more, the requirements are the followings :
- Php 7.4.1 to Php 8.1.x
- MySQL 5.7.0
- Bootstrap 5.x
The work done in Kunena 6.0 is mostly to update the code base:
- Update and fix language files
- Attempt to fix subscriptions mail with Joomla! mailtemplates
- Some fixes in various places
New features:
Support of Joomla! email templates
Add SCeditor 3.0 in addition to CKeditor
Private messages has been integrated (need to be intregated with CKeditor)
The changes done since the release of the RC3 are mostly bug fixes. We provide with this stable release the language pack in separate package.Download:
