Kunena 7.0.11 & Kunena 6.4.16 – Security Updates Released and K7.1 in RC1 2
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of three simultaneous security release : K6.4.16, K7.0.11 and K7.1 RC2. Just a reminder K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes untill end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.0.11. K7.0.11 is the last release of the K7.0 because it's replaced by K7.1 branch with the stable release in the corner. The translations for K7.1 on crowdin.com/project/kunena-forum-7-1 needs to be checked or improved becasue it has been generated by TM (Translation Machine).
If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your
configuration report
when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

There is currently no integration of any kind between Kunena and K2. The avatar images used in Kunena - including any images uploaded by your forum users - are for use within the Kunena forum and they are not used for any other purposes; that's what this feature was designed for.
If I understand your question correctly, you want to extend a feature of Kunena: to use Kunena avatar images in another Joomla extension. That's fine, if there is a mechanism for the other product to integrate with Kunena and use its features, but that's not something solely for Kunena team to develop or maintain. To resolve this matter requires the co-operation of both teams. As far as we know, the K2 team does has no interest in integrating Kunena features into their products.
Please contact the K2 team to ask if they have an interest in addressing your question.
