User sends me reports that they can't unsubscribe from topics, because there no such button.
How admin can manually unsubscribe users from topic updates?

Hello,

You need to uncheck the box when you edit your message to unscribe.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I am not aware that there is administrator function to "unsubscribe" users from topics or categories that they have subscribed to. This is almost the inverse of the questions raised in "Automatically" subscribe all members to be notified of any new messages for which the answer is the same. There is no administrator function in K 2.0 that can do this for you.

There are two cases where a user cannot see the Unsubscribe button:

(1) The user is not logged-in
(2) The user has not subscribed to the topic or category.

Has the user subscribed to the topic? Has the user subscribed to the category (and, therefore, is receiving updates about all topics in that category)? These are the questions that the person who is having the problem needs to answer.

If the person having the problem has subscribed to a category then you can forget about the question "how to unsubscribe users from a topic" because the situation doesn't arise. If a user subscribes to a category, they cannot choose later which topics they want to unsubscribe from; it's an "all or nothing" choice.

Ok, let's imagine a situation:
User don't use my site anymore and he don't remember (and don't want remember) his details on my site.
But, every day this user gets tons of messages about new topics on my site.
This user sends me in contacts email message and ask me to unscribe him from my forum.
In admin panel I can see only subscribed topics for user, there is no any options to unscribe...

Situation 2.

User has subscribed on 300 topics. Then user deleted his email.
Now I every day get 200-300 emails with text:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

************@gmail.com
Message was not accepted -- invalid mailbox. Local mailbox ************@gmail.com is unavailable:
user not found

This is a copy of the message, including all the headers.

So, how admin can manually unsubscribe users from topic updates?

How can a user complain about receiving lots of messages if the email is not reaching the user's inbox? What you seem to be describing is not a problem that the user is having but a problem that you (as the site administrator) seem to be having with emails that are not hitting their target.

If the user is no longer interested in your website it would seem to me that the easiest thing to do is to disable the user's account.

You can do several things:

(1) Ask the user to give you a working mailbox;
(2) Disable the way your site behaves so that you (as the administrator) receive failed email messages in your account;
(3) Login to the user's account yourself, and remove their subscriptions; or
(4) Disable or delete the user's account

There is no backend "unsubscribe another user's subscriptions" feature.
