Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

I've tried one or two filter which have failed, or at least I can't find the extension settings regardless of the upload being successful.

I've also tried Joomla Protection Light without success but is there one specific for 2.0.4?

G'day, Belt Belt Jones, and welcome to the forum.

The short answer to your question is that Kunena has never had this "bad words filtering" feature.

If there are 3rd party extensions that provide the functionality that you are looking for that's something you can research or, perhaps, other members of the community who are aware of such tools may be able to advise you better than me.

I spent years looking for one that worked well (didnt slow down forum etc). I have used last couple of years this plugin without problem - Forum Protection v1.6.4 by JooTools

still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile :(

Hi and thanks for the recommendation, but I'm going round in circles.

I've purchased the forum protection and the plugin has uploaded and enable successfully. However, I can't find forum protection with Joomla or Kunena to make any modification. What am I doing wrong?
