Hi everyone

I have a Joomla 1.5.22 instalation and decide to install kunena 1 6 php5.2.9
Installed fine from the url link

A forum menu link was created by the instalation

when i click the link the forum front page opens but i get a JFolder::create: Could not create directory
error across the top.

I have searched for this on the forum and have temporarily given 777 permissions to all joomla directorys that appear in the joomla list and they are all writable
But the error still occurs.

In am no expert can someone please advise what i need to do to resolve this please
as searching on the problem the only thing i could see was set permissions to 777 temporarily
What directory is it trying to create?

many thanks Henryparrot

What's the path to temp folder in your global configuration? Try setting it to only /tmp

Thnkyou for replying Baze
My global config server settings for path to temp folder are : /home/handsted/public_html/tmp

So am i correct in assuming that is already set correctly to what you said

or have i misread what you said and need to change the above?

many thanks
