I was wondering, is there a hack for enabling the log in/register now form to show when a guest tries to post something? Thus replacing the prompt in the attached screen shot. Thanks in advance

I believe there is something like that in the hack you have mentioned, but i'am not sure.

The image in the first message shows "The administrator has disabled public write access. Only logged-in/registered uses are allowed to contribute to the forum." Now, I have to accept that this is part of Kunena (because the image was taken from a page on this website) but I have never seen this message before and I don't know how you generated it. You see, if you are not already logged in, when you view discussion topics/messages you will not see any means of being able to respond (and therefore, presumably, get that message). Instead you will see "the administrator has disabled public write access" notices on your forum.
Therefore, in order to get a message that says "you tried to write a message in this forum but you need to be logged-in first" you would need need to have a reply option, at the very least, and I don't know how this is provided in standard Kunena 1.5. So, is your question about Kunena or is your question about the Own Kunena Login hack?

Now along with the text "The administrator has disabled public write access. Only logged-in/registered uses are allowed to contribute to the forum." I would like to include a login form or register now button. Has anyone achieved this type of function?
Sorry to be so specific, this is a feature that a client of mine enjoys about most vBulletin forums. But I want to go with Kunena because of its perfect fit with Joomla.
