Hello there,

I've installed a new language and I have followed the guidance here: docs.kunena.com/index.php/How_I_can_install_another_language%3F

The Forum is now in Danish and now I have a complete folder with English buttons and a complete folder with Danish buttons in the folder called components/com_kunena/template/your_template_name/images/

But my buttons are in English. I guess the (joomla) template was supposed to pick up the new language but it didn't.

How do I make Kunena or the template use the Danish buttons in stead of the English?

Please note: I'm new at this so if I need to find a specific path to change the language, please provide me the full path :) :)

Thank you so much :)

Hello,

Do you have set in joomla! language manager, the frontend and backend in danish ?

Do you have read it :

== I have no buttons, emoticons or rankimages. What's wrong? ==

* navigate to ''components/com_kunena/template/your_template_name/images/''
* check if there is a folder with your language as name
* if not copy the folder ''english''
** paste it in again and rename it to ''yourlanguage''
** override all icons which you want in your language in that folder. But remember to only change the icons and NOT the names of the icons!!
* if the folder exists enter it and check if it has the same number of files as the ''english'' folder
** if not copy the missing images into your language folder

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi,

I have set my website and administration in joomla to use the Danish language as default (I hope this is what you meant by frontend and backend?).

Yes, I read that bit too and I have the Danish folder with all the files. I've checked that the files are in fact Danish translations, but my buttons are still in English.

Is there anything else I can do? :)
