Thanks for that.

This has been very effective in resolving (almost) both issues. However, another issue has resulted. The login button (highlighted in yellow) now in the grey header bar does not do anything.

Go in backend to "Kunena -> Templates -> click on Crypsis -> tab Advanced" and choose "Load Bootstrap css = Yes"

I have recently re-installed Kunena on our website ( mbdvh.org.uk/index.php/contact-information/mbdvh-forums ) and there are a couple of issues which are not working correctly.

1. The login box is displayed twice - we only need it displayed once.
2. The Kunena menu is displaying vertically, not horizontally.

I have no idea what is causing either of these issues and would appreciate some pointers as to how to resolve them.

I am very sorry.
I have spent most of the morning trying different settings/templates.

Some work but cause other issues, so I revert back to Crypsisb3.

Again, if you can help me...I promise I will leave it alone now.

I updated to the newest version via your site.
The icons are still not right.

Can I manually upload the missing files?

I can do it if you tell me where in the com_kunena_v5.0.11.zip file they are.

Are not only the editor icons. Many css for Kunena will not loaded. The file "/media/kunena/cache/crypsisb3/css/kunena.css" remain empty, also after page refresh. Maybe some files are missing. Please reinstall Kunena and test your forum again.

Hi,
My Kunena is up-to-date Version: 5.0.10
You will be able to see what I am talking about by checking this link.
www.phrf-lo.org/index.php/handicapping/k...cussion/topic/create
I know it must have something to do with the Template, I just cannot seem to figure out what I have to modify in order to fix it.

Your help is greatly appreciated. If you need back end login access, please let me know where to send it.

Best regards, Diana

A picture is worth a thousand words but in this cause it does not help. We would need a account as normal registered user, otherwise we cannot see the editor.
But your Kunena is out of date, please upgrade first.

Hi,
I am hoping someone can tell me what is going on with my forum icons.
If you look at the attached you will see what I am talking about.

I am using Joomla 3 with Purity III - Magazine template, Kunena 5.0.1 with Crypsysb3 template.
I checked and Bootstrap 3 is installed.

I have tried to identify the problem using Firebug but cannot figure this out.

Anyone have any ideas?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately a registered only forum!
I am considering a reinstall as the forum was modified before the update to K5 and I think some of those modifications are causing problems.
At present the kunena menu isnt working so I get 404 errors when going to recent topics, profile, etc.
Also the category icons are not showing on some older browsers (our work computers run on an older version of chrome)
Had trouble with login for which I have had to install another login module
and occasionally when logging in we are getting an invalid security token.
All this has only become apparent since the update and so i believe a new install may be the way forward

do you have a link
11 Oct 2016 13:40
Unfortunately not, pressing the collapse button just makes the "Talk about anything you like!" line disappear.
That image is the view within a category, you can see next to the category name there are 48 topics but none of them are showing.
This is the same within every category on the forum.

maybe its just collapsed, hover on the category, then it showed a "x" press on it. Then it will be there again

Thanks, I ave tried bootstrap on and off with no difference, the problem has got worse and I haven't made any changes to settings, now not showing any topics within any category...
