It was the plugin Kunena-Gravatar integration that was enabled automatically after the update. If you disable it than EasySocial avatar working again.

Kunena not showing cb-avatars since update was created by Shuffle
Dear friends,
in Kunena 6.3.9 cb-avatars were shown. Since the update to Kunena 6.4.1 no cb-avatars are displayes any more.
The parameter in the plugin: Kunena - CommunityBuilder Integration is set to -> CommunityBuilder Avatars -> YES (activate). I also checked the database etc. All is fine, but no cb-avatars shown.

My kunena menu is in French now.
Pages still redirect to the home page when trying to reply, quote, edit an existing post, or trying to créate a new post.
I duplicated the production site and rebuild the Kunena menu in french, and the main menu in order to alias to the kunena menu (when the items exist).

I have a site from more than 10 years based on Joomla / Kunena / Hikashop.
I recently migrated from Joomla 3 / Kunena 5 to Joomla 5 / Kunena 6.
Everything was working well before the migration. It seems it's related to SEF, and ... perhaps to the language (It's in French by default, I would find this strange, but every possibility needs to be diagnosed).

I tested lot of things without finding the real issue.

Thanks. I am really confused because days ago this forum was still running flawless with all options available. Now I get the described 404 errors and the "not existing user ID messages" of users, which are existing since years?!?

OK, I have tried every configuration option that I can see and still don’t get a admin email notification that a new registration needs to be approved. In this case, it is better if you select ‘Search titles only’ when searching.
The problem in your case is the configuration reports. The default setting for the search is ‘Search entire posts’. Since the configuration reports under ‘Integration setting’ also contain the word Gravatar, all posts with a configuration report are also listed.
The same problem also occurs with other keywords if they are contained in the configuration report.
