Hi thanks for taking a look at this, please see my configuration report below. I have very few if any extra Joomla modules loaded. This is a fresh Joomla installation & the only addition to Joomla is Kunena.

I have the same problem. noindex on root / index.php only.
All visitors gone.
I disabled and removed the latest module from root and activate index and follow in menu item.
Hope google will index the page real soon. And hopefully, the page will be on nr 1 position where it was before this disaster. This cost me about 90% of my daily visitors.
Still kunena rocks.

Error when creating post and replying and edit... was created by Merup
Error 500 when creating post and replying and edit... No idea why, hope you can help me guys
It does seem like it makes the topic and edit if thats what you want it to tho everytime you click post or what ever... the error pops up instead of it going back to the forum...

Kunena Latest 2.0.1 inserts noindex meta tag was created by cybnet
Today I've been investigating why the visits to my website has been dropped and discovered that I have the meta robots set to "noindex,follow" in the home page. Joomla global configuration is set to use "index,follow", the menu item (featured articles) is set to use global configuration, even if I set the menu item to use other configuration, or if I set other global configuration, I always have meta robots set to "noindex,follow" in home page. The only way I have to don't have this proble is deactivating kunenalatest module (also if I deactivate kunena system plugin but in this case the module doesn't work, having kunena system plugin enabled and kunenalatest module disabled solves the problem so I think is a bug in kunenalatest module and not in the plugin).

New Problem - K2.0.1 - bug with anonymous posting was created by kross76
When you create a "New Topic", allowing "All Categories", the anonymous option is not shown (for the first category that comes up automatically). If you pull down the list of categories and select a different category, the anonymous option shows up. This is more serious than it looks because when our users want to post a new topic anonymously, and they don't see that option, they will probably elect not to post. Note that if you change the new topic menu to land on a specific category, the anonymous option shows up find, but then you're not allowed to choose a different category.
This problem showed up early on when anonymous was being developed and was fixed. I can't see an easy work-around (but perhaps you can). Hopefully, there's an easy solution.
(note - I edited this post for the Kunena folks as I found some old correspondence pointing to this problem in the past and it's resolution in a prior version).

Topicicons after upgrade to 2.0.1 was created by keithyoung89
I notice that at least 1 topicicon does not display since upgrade from 1.7 to 2.0.1. I see that previously (v1,.7), topicicons were located at:
.../components/com_kunena/template/default/images/icons/[filename]
and now (2.0.1):
.../media/kunena/topicicons/default/user/[filename]
I attach two screen shots to show the example of topic-smile.jpg. I have copied topicicons from the v1.7 folder to v2.0.1 folder so they are present in both versions. However, for this example, you see that in the 1.7 post topic-smile.png is displayed but in the 2.0.1. post default.png is displayed.

I just updated to 2.0.1 today and the mod_kunenalogin is "not" fixed.
ERROR: mod_kunenalogin: Kunena 2.0 (or later) is not installed on your system!
If I publish the login form I get that error. I can log in using the Joomla! login form and the Kunena login works fine. But as soon as I log out the only thing that appears below the title for the login is the error message.
Additionally, I have been trying to resolve the issue with "All users appearing as Administrators" and nothing works.
I've turned every permission upside down and there is no change. Only setting users to "Registered" allows the rank to work properly.
If I use a group name that is not Registered then Kunena won't recognize the group and assumes that it's an Administration group.
Where can I edit Kunena to get it to look at "all" groups instead of just Registered as the default? I want "Community" to be the default.
I've already gone through all settings in Kunena Categories, Joomla! Users, Joomla! Groups, Joomla! Access Levels, Global Configuration, Akeeba...I've been through them all. I've spent more than 8 hours searching, testing, changing...nothing works.
Ideas?

Auf einer Website, bei der ich das JA Purity II Template (Aktuelle Version 2.5.2) einsetze, werden die Seitenzahlen in der Übersicht aber auch im Beitrag sehr schlecht angezeigt.
Liegt das am Template oder kann ich da in den Kunena Einstellungen etwas optimieren?

500 Internal Server Error: Fatal Syntax Error when updating profile information was created by LadyFate
I have already updated to Kunena 2.0 1 and it did fix most problems I was having with the forum but now when any of my users try to update their profile this is the error message that is displayed:

I'm sorry if this is not enough information. I did turn on both the Joomla debug mode and Kunena debug mode, but they are not showing any other useful information that I know of. I am very new to both Joomla and Kunena so any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi, habe das gleiche Problem, alle Avatare sind weg nach Update auf Kunena 2.0.1 auch der Avatare Button ist weg, jedoch wenn ich Gravatar Integration Plugin ausschalte sind die Avatare wieder da.
