This is a strange behaviour in Kunena, if you enable Gravatar plugin you cannot use avatars from Kunena.

Hope that developers of Kunena will change this in the future.

Hi, check if you have enabled some Kunena Plugin to show avatar from extern application (Gravatar).

Hi everybody,
sorry for my english and I hope to be in the right place for my questions about avatars. I made a Joomla site 2.5.6 version and I installed Kunena 2.0 version inside it. Everythink works fine and I am happy with Kunena but one think, I am not capable to set Kunena in order to change avatar image for my self and for users front end site. Even if I edit my profile or user edit its own profile they can't change avatar. Thereisn't button or option displayed to change the default avatar. Can somebody help me and guide to resolve this problem. Sorry I'am beginners..... :blink:

I installed the Kunena forum on my site today. I wanted to use is as a group forum within GroupJive, but unfortunately i got an failure message when I try to choose a GroupJive group (PLG_KUNENA_COMPROFILER_NO_GROUPS_FOUND). But there are Groups. I don't know what I did wrong and where I should look for the problem.

Can someone give me a hint? Thank you!

Wie kann ich den Hash für Uploads erzeugen? was created by svensen
Hallo, ich möchte gerade meine alte CCBoard-Installation in Kunena migrieren.
Die Tabelle kunena_attachements hat jedoch ein hash-Feld.
Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich diesen Hash erzeugen kann oder gibt es eine andere Lösung?

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error (creating topics, editing user profiles) was created by Merup
hello guys, first of love the forum its great I just have this little problem with a 500 error when creating threads and accounts I think.. BUT i dont have the mootool at the system.

I upgrade joomla 1.5 to 2.5, maybe there is a problem.

Well, to take it from the top.
* CB is solved (as I wrote), but the integration by JoomlaPolis is messy, I've marked the thread as solved for your convinience.
* Error 500, sorry didn't follow up on that, I abandoned the project of creating a template, as I didn't find any proper docs or guides for that, and I couldn't get past the error, so it's running Blue eagle now.
* The attach image problem was already marked as solved, and you replied to it, it was because of admin tools conflicting there.
* Integration with UDDEIM was, pr. YOUR request after the beta period problems, retested, and proved successfully.
* The emoticons problem was solved, and the thread was marked as solved.

I gather from your tone, that your running a bit tired.
Well, I'm sorry that I'm running into issues with your product.
I know I didn't follow the postguide this time, but this product is very important for our small diving club, and I'm spending way too much time solving problems with the new and improved kunena, so it slipped this time, quite a few issues encountered that others have reported and we also ran into.
As per your kind suggestion, I've also tested the delete issue with a full width view of kunena (more that the minimum of 700px).



I still do not see a delete button.

Error when using Trash Manager was created by hkymre
*** Noticed on config site was on php 5.2 - moved to 5.3 and working ok ***


Noticed I had a couple of hundred messages in the trash manager so went to delete them.

Selected the first page full (100)
And the page said

Despite the error it did delete the messages.

Deleted the next page full with out any errors.

So two issues - one the error & two the number of messages to be deleted always says zero

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't quite understand your instruction. I haven't upgraded my version of Kunena, it is a fresh install. I am not using a menu item I created to access Kunena, I am using the Kunena menu created during the install of the Kunena (registered in postition user3).
