Hello everyboy,

I have a Problem with ReCaptcha when guest wanted to post something in the puclic part of the forum and also when they try to post with Kunena-discuss.
The Captcha is not showing the Captcha-Code and also the Icons are missing.
Joomla,Kunena and all other extensions should be on the newest level.
ReCaptcha is working on the register page and also in other extensions.
The pulic and privat keys I entered in Kunena are checked.

Maybe sombody knows whats wrong.

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah, I saw that and I played around with the options but what I found was that the categories would vanish but the login area would not (though it would be disabled). I'm clearly missing something.

Hello Kunena Tech'ies

Had a problem for a while now where Kunena menu stopped working, fixed it for a while by changing to new Kunena template, then began getting restricted access to forum index, made a work around menu to get to the index on frontend. Then decided to spend best part of 2 days trying to figure it out and finally did the trash all and rebuild from start, which did not work first time around but did for some reason second time around, must have missed a delete.

Now have the menu up at last but got code • before and after menu text, did have it all over the site so turned off language debug and debug in global config, now have it only on menu buttons. Hope this helps.

I'm currently running Joomla! 2.5.4 and Kunena 2.01. I can get Kunena to load fine when running on a local server, but Kunena will not load anything except the footer when running on the live site (no menus, no 'recent discussions', etc).
Local Server: PHP 5.4.5, Mysql 5.5
Live Server: PHP 5.2.9, Mysql 5.1.39

Note: Live Server is shared web hosting and I have no control of the php version or mysql version.

The live site and local site are exact copies of each other (I got the site working local first then published db and site files to live server).

When I click my Forum Menu item, it only loads the footer "Powered by Kunena Forum" at the top of the page. I'm sure its something obvious I'm overlooking, but I just can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

We often receive questions about people having problems with uploading avatars and these problems arise from a variety of causes. Sometimes the cause is not having sufficient read/write permissions on the folders where avatar images are stored; sometimes the problems are related to other components that people have installed on their websites.

The Gravatar issue is discussed elsewhere. Unless you know exactly how to use Gravatar integration, I would not recommend that you start using such advanced features until you know more about them. I don't know anything about using Gravatar image integration with Kunena. The only thing that I know is that Gravatar integration is controlled via a plugin and, if I was in your situation, I would disable it.

I assume that you (or your users) would not use Kunena to upload their own avatar images if you want, instead, to use Gravatar images. You (and your users) would need to use the Gravatar image upload facility.

i just installed 2.0.1 and I cannot find anywhere to add an avatar for users. One of my clients just upgraded to 2.0.1 and all their avatars were replaced by the generic blue gravatar logo. There don't seem to be any controls or options for uplloading avatars for either users or admin.

Are we missing something or is the new version missing something? What should we do?
