Kunena 6.3.7 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.7 [K 6.3.7] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.
This is for users to help other users, to discuss topics that relate to migrating from other web-based forums and converting the data into a form that will operate with Kunena.
It is important to note that the Kunena team does not have a standard, recommended or supported protocol for these ideas and that posting questions in this category may not receive advice from team members.

look at the kunena userlist. and find the last userid. then check joomla users, and check the last userid, i think you miss some users, thats why the profiles are just text.

that's the issue.
1) New joomla 1.5 and kunena 1.7.2, don't edit settings or removing categories, just leave it as it is.
2) Install kunena importer
3) Do the migrate job. (phpbb)
4) when finished, update to kunena 2.0.4
5) Export the #__kunena_* tables
6) use spupgrade or other migrator to J3.3.6
7) import the kunena tables to the new database (where you installed j3.3.6)
Update kunena to the lasted version.
9) do recount
10) do user sync
11) edit categories and section. (permissions)
12) That's all.
