Hello,

It's a known issue, for now i advise you to go back to 3.3.3 in order to don't have this issue.

If you want to go back to J!3.3.3 i can give you the way to do it

Kunena are affected by changes in Joomla! 3.3.4, i haven't looked in details all changes done in J!3.3.4 i don't know where is located exactly the issue, i will investigating to see if a fix is needed or if a patch in Joomla! fix the issue

P.S. : to go back to J!3.3.3 :
  1. Make a backup of your database and site
  2. Install the patch below
  3. Then you need to fix your database in Joomla! extensions manager

For my test site, the pagination problem begins with Kunena 3.04.
With J 3.3.4 installed I stepped up version at a time beginning with K 3.01
I had no pagination problems with Joomla "Search Engine Friendly URLs" turned on in K 3.01, 3.02 and 3.03.
K 3.06 pagination only works with J 3.3.4 with "Search Engine Friendly URLs" turned off.

Reverting back to K 3.03 fixed my issue. Topic links now return to 1st page as they should after navigating to older topic pages.
