Still not good. First of all when your site is in French and you have restored Kunena menu your menu should be in French as well (I hope you didn't forget to install Kunena language files....)
 
And your menu in configuration report should look like this (except for the id)
 

My site is in french by default. For convinience, I changed the langage in my profile.
What a surprise !!! Kunena creates the menu depending on the langage of the user who's managing the backend, not depending on the site itself.

I continue with this new configuration when I have time in the day and let you know.

Style blocked.
My kunena menu is in French now.
Pages still redirect to the home page when trying to reply, quote, edit an existing post, or trying to créate a new post.

I duplicated the production site and rebuild the Kunena menu in french, and the main menu in order to alias to the kunena menu (when the items exist).

I don't see any alias??

Those 3 menu-items should be part of Kunena menu and not in a separate menu. If you want them to be visible for administrator only, just assign them to the right user group.
