Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hello,

I have a site from more than 10 years based on Joomla / Kunena / Hikashop.
I recently migrated from Joomla 3 / Kunena 5 to Joomla 5 / Kunena 6.
Everything was working well before the migration. It seems it's related to SEF, and ... perhaps to the language (It's in French by default, I would find this strange, but every possibility needs to be diagnosed).

My problem seems to be like this post :  www.kunena.org/forum/installation-issues...,-html,-site?start=0

I tested lot of things without finding the real issue.
Globaly, with SEF, the forum works well. It only fail when I reply to a post. In that case, I get an error and the forum redirect to the home page. Obviously, it works when I remove SEF management. But it's not my goal.

As far as I can see this is caused by your menu structure. Follow these steps to recreate Kunena menu and menu-entry forum in your main-menu.

I recreated the Kunena menu and linked all my menu items with alias to the Kunena menu items when they exist.
And I still get the same issue.

I also get the issue with Quote or Edit.

Normally it is sufficient to create an alias for the Forum menu item in your main menu. Either for the Kunena index or for the latest topics (whatever suits you best).
Have you emptied your trash?

I assume that the forum-site menu type is the second Kunena menu.
In the French Kunena menu, the parent Kunena menu item Home is missing.
What type of menu is the menu type marked in red? According to the configuration report, it is the Kunena menu type forum-site and at the same time a menu type alias. Remove this menu item (also from the trash).
