Thank you for the information regarding the Kunena menu placement and menu items linking to it. That all makes sense.

Regarding what's going on with the "Forum" menu item, I have no idea. That was the result after using the Restore Kunena Menu tool without making any additional changes. I have however made some changes since I sent in that report, so here's the new report. Hopefully I haven't made the situation any worse.

In principle, almost everything is correct. Only the menu item Residents forum needs to be adjusted. Go to the Kunena menu and open the Residents Forum menu item. Select the landing page again and save it, because the view=home&defaultmenu=121 is wrong (probably comes from the cache). Then check the address, you'll see it directly in the menu item (depending wath you choose, Index is view=home&defaultmenu=199 and Recent Topics view=home&defaultmenu=200).

I see what happened. I had the Default Menu Item set as menu item from another menu. It defaulted that way because it was at the top of the list. Here's the report again, although it hasn't fixed the problem.

The menu items are correct now.
Please go now to the frontend and open the browser console (press on your kaybord F12). Select at the console the tab Console and try to edit your profile. Maybe it shows an error message.

This message has nothing to do with the problem. Without a meaningful error message, the cause will be difficult to find.
What happens when you want to save something in the profile? There should also be a message at the top.
Can you edit and save the Kunena user profile in the backend?

That's the only error message I get in the console. When I try to add something to the profile it just shows the same error message.

When I click on the same user on the backend to edit their profile information I see this error in the console:

&view=user&layout=edit&userid=848:54 Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
    at &view=user&layout=edit&userid=848:54:1

It also will not allow me to save information to the profile.

Ok thanks, I will ask our developer about this error message.

still a few questions.
Have you ever installed extra plug-ins or extensions in joomla?
and have you modified your htaccess for something.
I'm asking this because your picture has this line" https://..../media/kunena/core/css/bootstrap-datepicker3.css.map"
I can't find that datapicker3 anywhere on my old local website test

Hello,

For this error you need to check if jQuery is right loaded

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
