Hi there,

after updating to K5.1. I realized that the Forum Index Link does not work anymore.

It links to www.mysite.de/index.php?Itemid=940 which returns a 404 Error.

Anyone is facing same issue and have a solution?

Thanks in advance for your advise.

Best regards

Michael

This is a wrong menu item.
89 Mitgliederforum newmain view=category&catid=504 gemeinschaft-alle-fuer-einen-einer-fuer-alle57/mitgliederbereich21/mitgliederforum-mitglieder-bereich-89

Please make following:
1. Create in the Kunena menu a menu item "Menu Item Type = Show Category" and select the category which is selected in your wrong menu item. (If you no want to show this tab in the forum, then choose on tab Link Type "Display in Menu = No")
2. Change the wrong menu item in newmain to Menu Item Alias ( see image here ).

Then empty the chache and test your forum.

You have still wrong menu items which are not listed in your configuration report. Are the menu items with the itemid 940 and itemid 902. The forum will called via this wrong menu items, therefore the error.
This link you have posted. The itemid is wrong (red).
yourwebsite/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=7&id=77227&Itemid=902&limitstart=80#108687

Click on your posted link and change in the browser address the itemid (blue) and you see the tabs and also the breadcrumbs are correct.
yourwebsite/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=7&id=77227&Itemid=2592&limitstart=80#108687

You must repair this menu items. Links of other menus, which are linked to the forum, must be Menu Item Type = Menu Item Alias

Hi Rich,
thanks for the hint.
In fact Menu Item 902 was directing to the wrong and old Forum Menu Alias.
After directing it to the correct one, all is working again no problem.

Best regards and have a great day

Michael
