Hello,

Since update to 5.1 i have 2 problems :

- this error on my site homepage « Call to undefined method KunenaForumTopic::
(SOLVED : seams to be caused by Easy social Kunena plugin... i’ll call them and see if they can upgrade)

- categories and topics links have changed !! error 404 !!
From : /forums/21-la-terrasse/52558-petit-questionnaire-sur-la-randonnee-et-l-ecotourisme
To : /recherche-equipier-randonnee-trek/21-la-terrasse/52558-petit-questionnaire-sur-la-randonnee-et-l-ecotourisme

Old url are ok if you know them... but in the forums now that is the new ones witch appear and cause errors...

« Forums » is alias for Kunena index menu
« recherche-equipier-randonnee-trek » is alias for Kunena new message menu

I have ran diagnostic and repaired problems
I have checked and rebuilded Kunena menu and it’s ok « forums » is still the main Kunena menu item
I have disabled plugins (easysocial...)

Without sucess
Can someone help me solving this ??

Thanks in advance

Loïc

1) That function has been removed on k5.0. You need to update components that use any kind of kunena integration
2) for me www.rando-trekking.com/forums/21-la-terr...nee-et-l-ecotourisme is showing correctly.

Thanks for 1/ i’ll ask easysocial dev even if i was previously used it in 5.0.14 with sucess. I have disabled their app and it’s working. So something new with 5.1 they’ll have to deal with...

For 2/
Old url are ok if you know them... or access from google or any previous know url
BUT in the forums now that is the new ones witch appear and cause errors...

Go to a category
Ex : www.rando-trekking.com/forums/6-randonnee-alpes-sud-est
And clic any subcat or topic and see the new url...

Hello,

Still have the error :

Of course if You access with « old url » it’s ok.... Only if you know them... or access from google or any previous know url
BUT in the forums pages (category, index, ...) it is the new (wrong) urls witch appear and cause 404 errors...

Ex : go to a category
Ex : www.rando-trekking.com/forums/6-randonnee-alpes-sud-est
And clic any subcat or topic and see the new url... 404 ERROR

Can someone help on that ??

i think you use the wrong menu items.

You should set "Forums" as system menu alias. and point it to the kunenamenu-forum item. Then it should work again.

After updating I am getting the following error at the top of the template where the kunena menu normally resides. Any thoughts?

Rendering Error in layout Widget/Menu: Unsupported operand types. Please enable debug mode for more information

So why would a working setup under 5.0.14 be Ok but same setup under 5.1 give 404 errors?

@allenjj please create a new topic. for each issue.

@cheshirealan we have now added the correct itemid's to the pages. This fixes that you don't see the menu's.

But the correct way is to use System aliases on main menu, then select the item from kunenmenu.
If you want to have a custom kunena page. then you can create a menu item on kunenamenu, but not under Forum order.
Then you can create a system alias on the mainmenu to select the new menu item on kunenamenu

Sorry, I am confused. Its when I click on an individual post that I get a 404 error, not a menu item?
