The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 5.2.9 [K 5.2.9] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 3.10. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 5.2 and issues discovered during the development stages of previous version of K5.2.
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.0.0 [K 6.0.0] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.1.x. Only the module kunena latest and the discuss plugin which are still in beta are working in Joomla! 4.1 with Kunena 6.0.
Question Kunena not attaching uploaded attachment file
System info from Joomla attached. (The forum did not let me include a FPA report on the site. "Too many links")
Edit: Well now, didn't take the attachment either so:

There used to be a guide, appearing at the top of every page on these "support" categories, that explained the procedure of submitting configuration reports . Perhaps the site owners here might consider providing that kind of information again?kankaanp wrote: The forum did not let me include a FPA report on the site.
It's never a good idea to post these kinds of things as attachments either.kankaanp wrote: Well now, didn't take the attachment either ...
Aside from the fact that the Joomla FPA report will not render in Kunena — the code is designed to be used at places like forum.joomla.org — the configuration report is generated in the backend and it's simply a matter of cut-and-paste the code into the forum.

I hope you took a look at the original posting so you can point out to me where exactly it did not meet the procedural guidelines.
I do know that this information is potentially dangerous in the wrong hands and that this is a public forum. However I have the need to solve this problem and it is appropriate to hand this information to the kind developer who, in the middle of major release cycle, takes the time to help me out with it. The information was clearly needed and the Kunena config report in the opening message of this thread did not seem to suffice. Therefore I thought it better to use the not intrinsicly incompatible FPA since it handily gives fuller information about the site environment than the Kunenas own reporting system. The report I could now give lacks quite a few potentially relevant pieces of information but now that 810 is on it with our professional support account he'll certainly find them out himself.
Thank you for your invaluable contribution to the effort.

Returning to the original problem, you appear to have some kind of PHP issue triggered by mod_fcgid(). I haven't read much on how mod_fcgid affects Kunena, sorry.

And that's where my thoughts are also: I'm thinking this is an issue in the internal workings of the hosters web server environment. I've created a ticket to them also to see if they have some more useful log information available. The basic Apache access and error logs don't give much.
