Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

«Recent Topics» empty after upgrade was created by crimle
I have been trying to update Kunena from 6.0.7 to 6.8.0 or to 6.0.9 for a long time. The update runs without error message. But then in the Front-End the section «Recent topics» is completely empty. And «Recent topics» will never display any new item any more. It seems as if the update disables «Recent topics».

I tried to update Kunena from 6.0.7 to 6.8.0 and from 6.0.7 to 6.0.9. In either case the section «Recent topics» stops working and remains empty. I had to do a fallback and I still am on 6.0.7 now. With 6.0.7 it works.

By the way: We are using the «Category List in Recent Topics».
If we select «Show All Categories» it works.
If we select any category, the Front-End displays «There are no topics to display.»
If we select all categories manually, the Front-End displays «There are no topics to display.»
I guess there might be a bug in this filter.

The website runs Joomla 4.2.9 and PHP 8.2.4.
Any help is appreciated very much.

I suspect that there are incorrectly created Kunena menu items. Please create a Configuration Report .

Your menu items are fine. You were right, I found in my test that it is a bug.
Solution:
1. Select in the configuration:
Category Filter in Recent Topics - Show Categories
Category List in Recent Topics - Show all Categories
2. Go to the Kunena menu - Recent Topics - Main Settings
Mark Show Categories
Category Filter in Recent Topics - chose your wanted categories  (see image)
