Kunena 6.3.0 released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

so today in wamp locally tested last kunena message with PHP Version 7.4.27 and so few error messages there

hi I'm ashamed and sorry the error picture is the wrong picture
there is no more error message in this version php.
i replaced the picture with the correct one.
just can't detect the difference in my php settings between 7.4.28 and 7.4.27.

I am not a programmer but the error was still there.
Now I've tried some locally and I'll come a little further by using the data from this website in file that error refers to. so "c:\xampp-1\htdocs\newsletters\layouts\joomla\form\field\text.php"

if I fill in everything as in my picture, it works a bit better in PHP Version 8.0.15
maybe this will help you a bit further

ha i'm a step further i saw the latest changes in github.
Then I noticed that there is an extra file "KunenacategorylistField.php" and folder "Field" in c:\xampp-1\htdocs\newsletters\administrator\components\com_kunena\src\
it didn't come with the last reinstall of kunena Nightly Builds so uploaded a local and live manually
and actually seems to work better now on both php versions
one more warning but possibly because I didn't make all the changes to github ?
