Question Invalid page counting on Recent Topics - new findings

The previously reported problem was solved by Kunen Tools  (recalculate statistics).

Unfortunately, it did not help for all cases.

I found that the number of articles displayed, as well as the number of pages depend on my state. When I am logged in or not.

One of my thread has 271 articles when I'm logged in and 256 articles when not.
I have set to display 30 articles per page. So there should be a links to 10 pages (for 271 articles) or to 9 pages (for 256 articles).
The number of links to pages is displayed correctly always inside the thread, but incorrectly on the Recent topic page when I am logged in.
There are displayed only 9 links to pages instead of 10 links.

When I'm logged in:

Recent topics - INCORRECT number of pages

Inside the thread - OK

When I'm not logged in:

Recent topics - OK

Inside the thread - OK

NOTE: When I'm logged then also deleted articles are counted.

NOTE: When I'm logged then also deleted articles are counted.

If you can see the deleted posts, it is correct if they are counted.

There are displayed only 9 links to pages instead of 10 links.

Maybe the page is cached in the browser. Have you tried with pressing Ctrl + F5 to load the page again?

Yes, it is correct. It was just a note.

There are displayed only 9 links to pages instead of 10 links.

Maybe the page is cached in the browser. Have you tried with pressing Ctrl + F5 to load the page again?

Reload of the page didn't help.
I guess it is a bug and should be fixed.

I guess it is a bug and should be fixed.

I have searched here on k.org but cannot see this problem anywhere and also other users have not reported this problem. It seems that it only occurs in this one topic for you as well, is that correct? Therefore, I would not immediately suspect a bug.
Try again to recount the statistics, and synchronize the users too.

I have tried to recount the statistics several times.

The result is always the same.

The wrong number of pages when I'm logged in remains.
Here is several next examples.

I still guess that it is a bug.
It seems the number of pages when I'm Logged in on "Recent" is calculated from number of articles related to number of articles as I'm NOT Logged in.

I have removed the configuration report. Add a configuration report not as attachment! Anyone could read the contents of a text or zip file.

Now I could to reproduce this and know what you mean. This is only with Moderators and Admins, so he can see quickly how many deleted posts contain these topics. If you log in only as a Registered member, you see not a difference.

This topic has only been marked as solved, as it is not a bug. But it was not closed. Sorry, I didn't know you still had questions about it.
Your question now:

Is it really so complicated to display same pagination on Recent tab as on
Topis?
Also for Moderators and Admins?

There are two possibilities:
Either you set in the configuration (tab Security) Show Deleted Messages = Nobody
or
You delete this messages permanently from the trash (this cannot be reversed)
