Kunena 6.4.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.8 [K 6.4.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Doing fresh install on a subdomain, and have installation failure. Tried to clear cache as per other forum post but this did nothing for me. Messages below.

I have found that the file install.php in KPATH_ADMIN is empty

Strange, I just opened the dashboard, the installer started to auto-run again and it worked.

Any update on this issue? I have a similar issue trying to update on Windows. The following is all I get from the page:

Kunena 4.0.7 Installer
Kunena Installation Failed!

Installation Details

Preparing installation...

Joomla keeps telling me to finish the Kunena installation and all it does is fail...

try to clean admin kunena cache, this seems to be the issue.
