Sometimes I need to write some URLs in the post message of Kunena component, since Kunena will automatically convert those URLs into Links and automatically CUT OFF the http or https pre-text (this is VERY BAD!), I have to use CODE bbcode to ensure those URLs will be shown in the exact way I input them.

However, I noticed that Kunena will show CODE block in new line, thought there is no BR or P element around the CODE block(I did not hit the Enter key around the CODE bbcode either). I tried to use CSS to make the CODE block shown in the same line with texts around it, but failed.

Can anyone here help me to solve this? How to let the CODE block shown in the same line with texts before and after it?

Thank you.

There are settings for this in the configuration (tab) BBCode:
Trim Long URLs - Yes or No
Front Portion of Trimmed URLs - Number of characters
Back Portion of Trimmed URLs - Number of characters
Auto-Link URLs - Yes or No

For the second question, I know unfortunately no answer.

2) you need to edit the bbcode.php file. there is a new line before the code is executed

Thank you @rich, after I turned off URL Trim option and Auto-Link option, now Kunena can show the URL exactly as what I had input when composing my post.

Thank you @810, since source code modification will be reversed when upgrading Kunena to new version, I prefer to use "options" than "editing PHP files".
