I do not know if the reason that you are having problems with installing Joomla extensions (such as Kunena) is directly related to the version of PHP on your website or not.

Your problem has been discussed before on this forum. I have merged your topic with that discussion and I hope information in here will assist you. For example, see msg #6 earlier.

I am trying to install Kunena forum using the admin web installer but its not working instead am getting the following edited error.
Code:
Kunena Installation Failed! Sorry, installation failed with following error: Warning: DOMDocument::load(): I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/xxxxxxxxxx/joomla/administrator/KPATH_ADMIN/install/install.xml" in /xxxxxxxxxx/joomla/administrator/components/com_kunena/install/schema.php on line 206 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /xxxxxxxxxx/joomla/administrator/components/com_kunena/install/schema.php on line 296 Fatal error: Class 'KunenaRoute' not found in /xxxxxxxxxx/joomla/administrator/components/com_kunena/install/sql/install/php/sampledata.php on line 147

Does this mean that Kunena is not compatible with the latest joomla or how can i go about the error?

Thanks
