Kunena 7.0.8 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Solved Upgrading from 2.0.4 with automatic updates
The solution is to not use the automated update. Instead, use the procedure documented in K 3.0 Upgrade Guide .cmork wrote: can someone give us a solution for this mess?? i have 3 sites crashed because of this
This solution has been mentioned twice before in this topic.
We understand that people would like the Joomla team to fix the problems that Joomla has with automated updates. Like you, we are also waiting for help to fix these problems, too. Until we've heard otherwise, we recommend that people update Kunena using the traditional approach - see K 3.0 Upgrade Guide - which takes about 30 seconds to run.
