Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

From your configuration report, I see you are talking about a localhost (XAMP or whatever) installation, which I am not too sure about support wise.

I also see you are not using the Kunena 3 template but rather an outdated one that does not work correctly with Kunena 3.

If publishing the Kunena menu in your Joomla admin does not work that is a Joomla issue, not Kunena, as Kunena relies and uses only the Joomla default menu system.

Here is the more "definitive" summary of the situation regarding support for local PC-hosted websites: Support for PC-hosted websites (e.g. WAMP, XAMPP) .

Hello
I have installed and set-up the Categories for my forum but I cannot seem to get the Kunena Menu to show.
In the template manager I have set the 'Display Kunena Menu' to yes.
However, the Menu will show if I click on the 'announcements' link.
I notice that the 'Kunena Menu' in the menu manager does not have a module associated with it. If this does need a module then what is the position that I should be using?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards

Mike

For some reason, I'm finding that after I have replied to a message, the Kunena menu is not showing on the page. however it doesn't seem to do it all categories, it's just intimate from what I can see.

The #1 Oscar Fish website on the net
Joomla! 2.5.14
Kunena 3.0.2

I'm sure there's a reason - if you're using your own customised Joomla menu (and we all know how difficult it is to set up a Joomla menu properly, don't we?) - and you will discover the answer somewhere in this topic, I hope. I don't personally know how to help you with your specific problem because we know nothing about your website ... but good luck, anyway. :)
