No. I thought the actual functionality was in the kunena software and that the template was just styling it. I know that answers were provided on here for removing the buttons from previous versions (1.7, I seem to remember) so I assumed that it would properly be done in Kunena itself in version 2.o also?

What are these "login" and "search" buttons you are referring to?

If it's s template styling issue (and you are not using the K 2.0 Blue Eagle template) then this is a question you should ask the people who designed, developed and, one would assume, support the template you are using.

Ok I'm using a Joomforrest template (JF Corporate) which can be found here:

www.joomforest.com/joomforest-templates/...joomla-template.html

It's the only joomla template I could find that also included Kunena styling.

I've attached a screenshot, the lower two buttons are the ones I need shot of.

thanks

Thanks for that screenshot. These buttons have nothing to do with any software product designed, developed, maintained or supported by the Kunena project.

I have merged this topic with a similar one that deals with these features.

Ok fella, thanks for your time.

I've just added a pot over at the Joomforrest forum so hopefully someone over there can help out.

Kunena is an amazing project, can't wait to get my site on-line :)

thanks again
